01 · What is Cagrilintide?
Cagrilintide (AM-833) is a modified amylin analogue engineered for once-weekly dosing in preclinical and clinical research. It is structurally related to the approved amylin analogue pramlintide but with substitutions that extend its circulating half-life to approximately one week.

Cagrilintide activates amylin (AMY) and calcitonin receptors expressed in the area postrema and hypothalamic feeding circuits.
